I’m Frankie, some of you may know me from the Chicks, Rogues and Scandals book blog, if not let me tell you a little about myself.

I am an avid reader of multiple genres, and as some have described me as an ‘enthusiastic’ reviewer (which means I waffle a lot, LOL) my main blog Chicks, Rogues and Scandals is where you will find book reviews for (mostly) romance and historical fiction.

But I also love the occasional thriller, adventure and edgier fiction. Books which have ‘Black Hearts’ and a few ‘Daggers’! (Hence the name 😉)

Think of; Steve Berry, Chris Kuzneski, Dan Brown and Marriette Whitcombe and you will have an idea of what I read.

I felt that those books even though I love them as much as I do my romance, don’t fit in with the oh-so cheerful; ‘butterflies and flowers’ feel of Chicks, Rogues and Scandals, so Black Hearts and Daggers was born!

Here I will be sharing my reviews for all those books I choose to read, and over the coming months, I will be transferring all of my thriller book reviews from Chicks, Rogues and Scandals here.

Black Hearts and Daggers will not be open for review requests, this blog is for all of those books I choose to read from my own bookshelves and Kindle as I am so fussy about what I read now – and my TBR is out of control.
